St Mary's

Out on a walk, this evening, on my way to Booths, the long way 'round (because STEPS), I went through the churchyard at St Mary's. The grass between the graves is awash with daffodils and it looks amazing, especially when the scene is illuminated by a beautiful spring sunshine that is not necessarily a given in these parts. 

I love churches. I find the buildings beautiful and I enjoy the calm inside. I like to think that I could spend time immersed in that tranquility but I also know that I'd start fidgeting after a few minutes. If you were allowed to lie down on a pew and have a nap, now that would be perfect.
