Easter Day Walk

Happy Easter!
After dinner last night Jonas and Karin had to return home, but Lasse and Annika stayed over. After a looong breakfast we went out for a walk. Lasse was interested to see the deer skull so we walked up to that part of the forest. Somewhat to my surprise, I found the skull where I thought it would be, after it wasn't in the first place I thought it would be. (Does that make sense?)

Lasse works with anatomy and here he is pointing out all the bits that correspond to a human skull, using a jaw bone as a pointer! Monya is interested but like Rusty after an initial sniff she soon lost interest.
The extra shows us returning homeward after we'd looked at the skull. It also shows how the forest can look a few years after the trees were cut down.
We finished of by walking by the beaver lodge and checking out the two dams they have built.
We do live in a lovely place!
