Easter Selection

Kind old neighbour Ruth came down the field with a huge Easter egg for us this morning.  I cut a chunk of simnel cake for her to take and share with husband Jimmy.  

There is a lot of trading like this round here.  Half a dozen eggs for some cauliflower plants was the last one!  

Wonderfully sunny and bright today, but very chilly in the biting wind.  Got the grass cut, but I was well wrapped in my fleece and gloves!  Roast leg of lamb studded with garlic and rosemary for dinner, followed by Bakewell tart and ice cream.  And chocolate . . . !
