I returned to Three Arch Bridge this afternoon with Mrs Catspaw, to catch the Flying Scotsman running 'chimney first' with the 15:30 departure from Sheffield Park, passing under the bridge at 15:45.

Today's 'Extra' shows the train heading northwards to Horsted Keynes on its way to East Grinstead.

While waiting for the train's arrival, we both admired the bluebells that give the line its name blooming on the side of the cutting either side of the bridge.
