MonoMonday: Above

This old Honey Locust tree towers way above our house - not over the house, but right next to it. It has all the symptoms of a dying tree. We have had more than one arborist look at it, but pruning such a huge tree is costly,  and John thinks he can do it himself from a high lift. It's the tree where the swing hangs and has been hanging for nearly forty years. We are not done swinging yet so I hope the tree's life can be extended still.
