Birthday ride

Backblip from yesterday; it was my birthday and by the end of the day I was out of time and energy to do a blip.
John took me for a ride up the Gorge to The Dalles, then to Trout Lake near Mt. Adams (our jumping off point to the yearly huckleberry picking). There is a little cafe at the gas station, where we had hamburgers and huckleberry pie, a perfect birthday lunch. The ride was beautiful, trees and hillsides bursting forth in vibrant greens, whispy clouds floating low.
The main blip is of the Multnomah Falls, the most visited tourist site in Oregon. We just passed by. The extras are; another hillside on the way to The Dalles, and the swollen Trout Creek.
In the evening some of the family was here to celebrate; I felt much
loved.
