Tiny Tuesday: "Leaf" - Acer

This tiny little new Acer leaf is only about 1cmx1cm - small but perfectly formed.

There's a slight optical illusion in the picture - the leaf is photographed from the top, so that each leaflet is actually concave towards the camera. But sometimes one's eye is tricked into thinking they're convex. Shows how easily our senses can be fooled!
