Sunday Lunch

After morning coffee and a late Sunday lunch we managed a quick trip to one of the local garden centres. It was busy, though perhaps not as busy as I expected.

We did not spend much at the garden centre, we found a dried out fern that had been reduced to 50 pence. We asked one of the staff, who was watering the plants to give it some water to help it survive until we got it to its new home. Despite the fern being in a sorry state, and its reduced price, he gave it some water without complaint, but with a smile.

In the afternoon I watched most of the Bahrain Grand Prix and was delighted to see a Ferrari win. Maybe they can win a championship this year, driver to manufacturer, but that may be too much to hope for. At least they are winning a few races, and that is already an improvement on their recent form.

In the mean time the fern was planted, and we have to hope Cosmo does not dig it up again. It may be safe as long as the place chosen does not also hide any of Cosmo's buried treats.
