First damselfly of 2017!

I didn't do much today, other than a quick trip to the local Southwater woods. It was wonderful there, absolutely alive with insects and wonderful wild flowers....when the sun went in for a short while this little Large red damselfly Pyrrhosoma nymphula, jumped onto my finger to warm up. I love his cheeky little face!
