A Cuppa at Coppa

Lunch and a coffee at Coppa Cafe. I have been coming here now and again ever since it opened. There is another cafe across the road, but it is very small and cramped, it tends to be crowded and quite uncomfortable. Coppa instead is bright and reasonably spacious. It does quite nice sandwiches. Perhaps unexceptional but a reasonably comfortable place to linger over a coffee.

These and a couple of other cafes are to be found in St. Swithin Street. He was an English saint who died in 862 and is buried in Winchester Cathedral. It seems a long way from Winchester to have a street named after him in Aberdeen.

The weather did not suggest lingering anywhere in the outside world. Quite cold, and even if the sun was shining it was an illusion as there was no heat in it.
