Davaar Island from the old Shipyard

Davaar Island from the old Shipyard

11.0C fairly overcast through the morning with some showers then bright spells in the afternoon. The local Met. Office station at the airport reported a light Westerly breeze but it felt more like 25 mph with the gusts stronger, especially out at the shipyard.

Maeve the Deerhound got up about 6.45am. I took her for her walk which is still possible once she gets up and has a few minutes to become steady.

After lunch Maeve and I went for the shorter walk.

Once Maeve was back home and settled I went for a walk out to the shipyard and back. When I was almost out at the shipyard one of the deep sea fishing boats came out of the harbour and crossed the loch to head out to sea. The bigger boats go out through the channel past Davaar island then head South then West round the Mull and out into the Atlantic.
