Cornflower Blue

Another from my Mum's garden, these Centaurea montana do really well on the London Clay here.  Having seen this plant in flower atop the Brienzer Rothorn in Switzerland, I can attest to it's mountain credentials!

A quiet day, all the more so after um set off for Wales with my brother as chauffeur.  Ruth has done some college work, while my presence here allowed workmen access to repair roofing felt and chimneys that needed a bit of re-pointing.  Home this evening, hopefully after the Friday mad rush North!
