My Year

The Last Straw

Harvest continues here at breakneck speed to get finished before the weather breaks on Monday.

Today two combines were working, but I resisted to blip them as I did so on Wednesday.

Instead I decided upon the rows of straw left after the combine had passed. These will be baled up into large round bales and used as bedding for livestock in the winter. Nothing goes to waste.
