View from the garden gate!

Well, for a couple of weeks anyway. We have returned to Craster on the Northumberland coast to stay in the house we were in last February. And the sea is at the bottom of the garden (it’s a long garden!)

Only those who have spent most of their life landlocked can appreciate the joy it is to have the sea there all the time. To be able to watch the waves, the light playing on the water; to see horizons; to watch the sky change second by second.  Wonderful!

We had a lovely meandering journey here and arrived . . . to rain. Then the front passed over and we had a glorious evening walk in the sun . . . by the sea.

And just look where we were this very day last year . . . could there be a greater contrast in all aspects. I don’t think so.
