The Wonder of Wool

A Ryeland lamb from Herefordshire, without whom and all the other wonderful breeds of sheep there are in Britain and around the world, most of the glorious  items we drooled over at the 'Wonderwool' show today at Builth Wells would not be conceivable.

I was in heaven and so were the other crafty ladies on our caravan site, 3 of whom came with us.  Mr T was stoical and uncomplaining carrying bags of our purchased goodies, none too heavy though, spun sheep's wool, antique pearl buttons, knitting yarn and, and ..... don't weigh too much!

Back at the caravan we're all exhausted now.  The weather is lovely, the BBQs are out, and the wine.  We dropped in briefly to a pub in Builth this morning to support a MacMillan coffee morning run by our caravan site owner.  Our next door neighbour on the CL won a bottle of white wine, I won a bottle of red and Mr T won a bottle of sweet chilli sauce!  The wine is palatable! And the sauce will go nicely with the salmon we're  having for dinner.

All in all a perfect day, and the Swallows are arriving too.
