Capturing my Journey

By thedoglady

Ouch

Painful hail/showers. This one was more hail than snow. I took this while gathering in the ewes and lambs from the lambing field. Just as we were driving to the back of the field to make a start we noticed a ewe lambing with the lamb out but she was still lying down. As we got closer we realised the bag was still over the lambs face so I leapt out the buggy and quickly took the bag off and got the lamb breathing. Husband had to run off and catch the ewe that had run off in fright at my intrusion. She is first time lamber. They were taking back in the lambulance to the maternity ward. Then we gathered in all the sheep from the lambing fields. Sorted paired tagged and registered in the system all the ewes and lambs.  Went through those to lamb checking none were not in lamb. Only 14 left to lamb now They are staying in the shed now.

3c sunshine and hail/snow showers 20.7mph NW -2 wind chill
