Capturing my Journey

Tails a blur

Triplet on the right twin in the middle both nearly 2 weeks old on left is 4 day old lamb he's huge!! The pets with blurry tails as they sook milk from the ad lib feeder. Just ordered more milk powder they aren't long in getting through it.

After feeding husband and I brought in the calving cows and took off the two cows with the newest calves. The cow that calved a few days ago (first time mummy) is very low on milk. The concern is she dries up completely and we end up with a pet calf. So her and the old cow have been put onto the best grazing and given a bale of haylage between them and bigger feed rations and positive vibes hoping the grass grows and she keeps her milk on. Making a stressful time even more stressful!! No new lambs today they must be crossing their legs.

Booked livestock lorry for moving all the livestock off farm in one go. Downside it can't get up to the farm thanks to a narrow bridge on a corner. Now we will need to devise a loading area for that. Moving farms is complicated!! Decided on moving dates too today.
