Peace

Away from home again, in a city that I've grown to dislike because I've rarely seen it in daylight, and it signifies being away from home. This evening I finished work and wandered back to the relative peace of this courtyard garden of economy flats, with a broad spectrum of ethnicities, birds nesting in the ivy and a migrant enjoying the evening settle from his rooftop view. Perhaps I don't dislike it here. Another reason not to stay in clinical corporate hotels.

Grateful today that my legs are working again.
