Dark harbour

It's bitterly cold. The wind is from the northwest and the sun has just set. The tide has gone out - when we arrived here at Newhaven Harbour in the afternoon the waves were splashing over the sea wall, but now the harbour is more than half mud. Against the still-glowing sky it looks very dark.

And I am very definitely no longer in London...
