A tale of four airports

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of air travel, it was the age of tier points....

I'm off to Bristol for the week. By the peculiarities of airline routing I follow an indirect route : Edinburgh - London - Dublin - Bristol. My bags are X-rayed multiple times, passport checked only once.

Despite a missing crew in London, and an exciting display of fuel spillage cleanup procedures, I still make the journey in less time than it would have taken Charles Dickens.
