Wednesday Walk

Not much different from any other day!

Replacement board arrived for our electronic gate opener. We had a thunderstorm at the weekend and yet again neither the house main fuse board nor that on the board reacted in time. In the early day the company sent out a man to do the work. Having watched a few times, I now know what to do myself.

In the coming weeks, an electrician will be completely overhauling our fuse cabinet. Major work involving drilling large holes in walls. Hopefully the much finer fuses and the additional lightning overvoltage switches will stop this near annual event.
