Bancroft Gardens

I met Ann out of the Blue Cross shop this afternoon and we went for coffee at Nero. I came into town an hour earlier to hunt out some blip material and see if the flags were fluttering today. It has been very cold even though there have been periods of sunshine, but with almost wintery showers.

I walked down to Bancroft Gardens and the river; there were not many people there, but quite a few swans as usual. The horse chestnut tree was in flower, here's one of the blooms with the RSC tower in the background.
