Ice flow

I go down to the Serpentine Gallery before lunch this morning in search of a book published in Chile. Unsurprisingly I don't find it but do manage to come away with William Eggleston's 'Democratic Camera' and 'An American index of the hidden and unfamiliar' by Taryn Simon. Both of which are marvelous.

With half an hour extra on my parking meter I walked down to the lake and found that it had frozen over during the night and the morning crust was just beginning to break up.

The shards and textures of the frozen water were quite compelling.
