Lochan Ghleannain

This Wednesday's walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers was in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, just to the south of Loch Ard.

We parked in the Forestry Commission car park near Milton and our 11km route took us along the shores of Lochan Ghleannain (pictured) and Loch Ard (see extra photo) as well as along some "undulating" (the word of the day), but good, well-maintained paths through the forest.

It stayed dry, but there was quite a chilly breeze in the few parts of the walk that were exposed to the elements. All-in-all, a good day.
