DOWN THE FRONT:

Such sadness. There is a wind today & the leaves are flying about like wedding confetti. These photos are taken in the front garden, the top one looking over the heathers, back to my house - the wheelbarrow & the seat. The remaining two are of this beautiful maple, Acer Osakazuki, which shines like a beacon. Quite brilliant. It has been a funny day. This morning I was certain we'd get rain - remember it is Thursday (!) but as the day progressed, wind got up & we've had intermittent cloud & then sunshine. It's as if old Mother Nature just can't make up her mind. An unpleasant day really.
