Saint George

Or Jordi as he's called out here slaying the dragon. He's the patron saint of this area but we've just missed the local festivities - for some reason this involves a festival of the rose and books. Presumably St George is the patron saint of roses and books as well as England and Catalonia. He seemed to get around a bit! This is one of the many statues in Thuir.
