Peach Blossom

Spring has well and truly sprung and the mild weather continues, meaning that all the colours of spring are bursting forth. The grass is starting to grow, the kowhai flowers are glowing like sulphur and the fruit trees are starting to bloom, promising a bumper crop of fruit (should the weather be kind).
Today's blip is another homegrown specimen, this time a macro shot of one of the stunningly fragrant peach blossoms currently gracing our small orchard. If the fruit crop is as good as the display of colour on the trees, we're in for a good season.
