Hail on Moss

If yesterday was so different from last week, today's weather has reverted to winter. It was very cold cycling to work, so I was glad I had looked out the thick gloves.

On my lunchtime walk, the north wind brought in a light hail shower. The ground is much too warm for it to lie for long. On a wall I did notice a couple of small hailstones, one of which s shown above.

Cycling home was interesting, on one bit, heading downhill, in to the north wind, I had to pedal extremely hard. Not what I really wanted after yesterday's bike ride. Glad to get home.
