Pink beauty

I am amazed at the success of my oleander! This shrub which one sees in the Mediterranean and the tropics seems happy in my sheltered courtyard, despite us having sub zero temperatures there last winter. It started life with me as a little house plant and when it grew too large it was put outside "to take its chances". Now it is five feet tall, and flowering this year better than ever.
