Flower Friday...Stamps

I don't buy old stamps because I need them for my collection...I buy them because they're purty. (That's right...spell corrector...I said purty.)

If you look closely, the state birds are in the foreground, and the state flowers are in the background.

Thanks to Anni (Bikerbabe Bikerbear) for hosting.

Some facts after studying the sheet.
1. The most birds go like this: 7 states have the cardinal, 6 states have the western meadowlark, and 5 states have the mockingbird.
2. The flowers don't have as many repeats. The violet is the state flower in 3 states.

My state's (Michigan) choices? The robin and the apple blossom.
