Tête de la Course

A 5 a.m. alarm howl from Milo this morning..only four more sleeps to go!

The Tour de Yorkshire passed close by today - the men’s race set off from Tadcaster at 2 p.m. and this was the Tête de la Course (leaders) just a few minutes later as it passed by Toulston / Newton Kyme.

Standing next to the road I was struck by the ‘draught’ that they created in such a big group - and the smell of muscle rub!

The farmers in the extra had the best view in the house….

Congrats to Lizzie Deignan (née Armitstead) on a superb result in the women’s race in the morning.
