Goldfinch

Only one Goldfinch on the feeder today, haven't seen both of them for a couple of days now.  I hope that is because one is on the nest, while one feeds.
The extra today is my homework for AYWMC.  The exercise is to eliminate hard shadows when the light is strong from one side, by using something to reflect the light back.  In this case it is a piece of silver mirror card.  The strong light from the left is a desk lamp.  I have removed the hard shadow on the right of the ceramic box, but seem to have flattened the image and robbed it of depth.  Not sure where I went wrong but will repeat the exercise again another day.
