Heading South

Bank Holiday Monday on the M6. Not where I would choose to be, but we are heading south for the funeral tomorrow of D's cousin.
We'll be staying with D's parents in St Helens. They have never met Jess before. These occasions, though sad, are a chance for families to meet and talk, and to strengthen the bonds which join us.
I just wish we didn't have to barrel down the motorway in this wee car with all the other traffic :-(
