Hay Tor From Bag Tor

I had a meeting with manager of the Cockhaven where we played on Saturday. It was good to find out that the money raised was over £600 which can't be bad for a relatively small venue.

After that I went up to Dartmoor without much of a plan. I decided that I'd park near Saddle Tor and walk down to Bag Tor. On the basis of today's walk, maybe it should be called Bog Tor. As it turned out, I abandoned the walk as I got closer because there were some cattle with young calves and it didn't seem a good idea to get too close which would have been necessary to get to the tor.

I liked the view back to Haytor Rocks, it looks different from here and the little peaty stream seemed to make a good foreground.
