Orienteering

In to Leeds first thing to pick up bits and pieces for our upcoming holiday then, after lunch, it was off to Ilkley to help out at the first Schools' League event in the Riverside Gardens.  We didn't have many children turn up but those that did were enthusiastic and some of them went round the courses several times.

When the Schools event was finished, folks began turning up for the evening Sprint event so Tony and I helped Steve put out controls then I took some photos, including of two rats on the riverside!  Looking down on this control in my blip made for some interesting overhead blips.  This young man is working out his route for the next leg.

We decided to get fish and chips from the nearby hotel/cafe and sat outside in the evening light to eat them before coming home.
