Water Play

We’re finally getting some genuine spring weather, and the pull of that change, plus some errands I couldn’t put off any longer, meant I could go wider afield for my blip today.

I find watery reflections irresistible, and as the Schooner Zodiac was at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal and one of my necessary errands --pick up books on hold at the library -- was in Fairhaven, the choice was easy.

I’ve added a close-up of the prettiest reflections and a long shot to show the Zodiac in her berth at the harbor. She’s a classic160-foot windjammer, launched in 1924, offering a range of public and private cruises from spring through autumn.
