After four and a half week, Mark the painter has left us with lots of shiny white bits inside and out with a few yellow walls. All the non- newly painted rooms now look distinctly shabby but I think that will do for Operation House. Just carpet cleaning to go.

Am struggling to think of any other news tbh. I did have a couple of happy moments this morning when I remembered (twice!) that it is already Wednesday which was a particular highlight.
