Student art

Last night I lost a filling from a tooth. Today S woke with a ghastly migraine and was forced to cancel her dentist appointment. I took it. On the way there from where I work at Auckland Hospital, the taxi stopped beside the site of a new building for the University of Auckland. The protective boards around the site have, in many instances, been painted on, I guess by students of the Elam School. I have been seeing my dentist since 1969. He has tried retiring and found that there are still things he wants to do. He has established a mobile dental service to the elderly in retirement villages, rest homes and so on. He had the cheek to ask me, when I told him what I am now doing, "Don't you know how to say No?"
