Blooming lovely

We saw some lovely flowers on our walk today, including this unusual columbine. It was quite windy, so it was difficult to get a clear shot as the flower was blowing around!

I cooked a roast for lunch today and decided to have boiled new potatoes myself, which were actually lovely! I didn't feel disappointed at all :-)). The diet is going well I think - have lost a few pounds. I always know it will be very slow progress, due to my age and some medication that I take. But any progress is good!
