Cold Reflections

The lake has opened up. There are only a few small patches of ice left and those will soon be gone.
It is hard to believe that just 7 weeks back we were skiing on very solid ice here, and 7 weeks from now there could be folks swimming comfortably in the same lake!
However, right now, at 9 in the evening down by the lake, there's a cold beauty here, very different to the daytime sunny warmth in the garden.
