Yellow-headed Blackbird

I will share this image today.  I met up with an on-line photographer friend and this was our first 'person to person' meet.  We had a lovely morning, in the growing heat and humidity, at Ridgefield NWR.  There were tons of yellow-headed blackbirds there today and it was a real treat to see them, because they have been a rare sight at Ridgefield these past few years.  This guy was having a bit of a disagreement with a red-winged blackbird, over territory I suppose.
