Encapsulated

So much of the blossom is on the ground now thanks to the really heavy rain we've had for the past 4 days. This is how a drip on a flower looks once the petals have gone. I was fascinated by the way the whole thing is encased in the water.

I wonder if that's where they got the idea for gel capsules.
