St. Vivien de Medoc

The church in the centre of Saint-Vivien-de-Medoc is quite large for such a small town, and dates in part from the 12th century. Curiously, the church has a very '1950's style' bell tower which seems a little out of place with the rest of the building. Having done a little research, it appears that the bell tower was, in fact, rebuilt after the original one was destroyed during WWII.
