A dinnertime smile

It's lovely having my little granddaughter to stay. She's recently begun eating solid food and I couldn't resist a photo when she'd just eaten her dinner. 

This morning we went for a walk along the canal and even though it was grey and cold there were lots of birds singing. Those that have recently migrated here must have had a shock after the warmer climes that they left behind.
