Cloud fantasy

Today was the annual Spring Show of the Scottish Rhododendron Society, held in the Gibson Hall in Garelochhead. I don't show any more as I have no garden to show from (sob) but it's good to keep up with all the folk, some of whom I've known for maybe thirty years.

As we left home the blue sky was filled with clouds of the most amazing shapes, and I stopped many times to take yet another photograph. This Blip is taken looking across Loch Etive towards Ben Cruachan.

I don't know what causes clouds of this type - maybe somebody can enlighten me!
