"Sunshine on Leith"

I began the day with a long steady run in the hills with a clubmate, having the pleasure of taking him to parts of the Pentlands he'd never seen. The weather was beautifully​ sunny, with a cooling breeze. Then I went into town where I'd arranged to take my PhD student and three undergraduate project students to see the last Hibernian game of the season. The game was an unexciting draw, but the atmosphere was great as the opposition needed​ a point to stay in the Championship and Hibs were awarded​ the Championship trophy after the match.
