Mashed Worms it is Then

I've seen this poor frazzled female blackbird frantically gathering food and flying off countless times over the last few days..........today I saw her taking her frustrations out on a huge worm.......bashing it into smaller pieces ( sorry if you're eating ), hiding the bits she couldn't carry under a nearby flower pot on feet, pausing briefly here to check that no one was raiding her stash and hurriedly flying off again........you'll be pleased to know that she successfully got all the delicacy retrieved without any losses......what a clever girl :-))
