Lavender

Our daughter's birthday today.
She would be the first to admit she's not taken after me in the gardening department (has in nearly all other areas, poor girl)
So l've bought her six pots of lavender to dot around her porch.
As long as she remembers to water them now and again they should bring her a lot of pleasure.
Hope so as Lavender is one of her favourites
We are just going into Leeds to drop Ruby off for her ballet lesson.
Means we can have a couple of hours of mother and daughter time, a rarity these days and more precious than any present
