Barb's 90th Birthday Bash

A back blip to Saturday--yesterday to show just a few pics from Barb's 90th held in a big room at her rehab center.  She barely held up for the party ...she was quite tired from the excitement and from two recent falls and all her other issues... But she LOVED it...said it was the best time ever and she seemed much better post party up in her room--getting resettled and having a comforting and relaxing neck massage from her home nurse Diane--a lovely person.  And her terrible cough WAS better and they finally did another chest xray showing a bit of pnemonia so new meds and the nebulizer and a change in pain pills has helped a TAD.  She still had no appetite....but post party Diane and I got some special ice cream with extra nutiants into her and saw to it she did her nebulizer treatment !  This collage shows a couple bouquets--one included pink Rhody's from our own yard, but ones from a rhody originating in Barbls yard and home.  Also in the center her son and dil and her and then one of her and Jack who she trades jokes via mail with.  
      A couple hightlights that tickled my tickle bone were...when I first walked into the party room I saw the picture boards on a table...I thought..great...her son did mangage to put some together!  Upon closer looking I realized...wait..these are picture boards and stories I put together about six years ago for her daughter's memorial...WHAT? (the ef?)   Crazy....Barb never realized so that was good.  Some folks were asking why all the photos of Barb's daughter...craze and absurdly funny in a way.  Then when her son spoke during the celebration for her, he mentioned how much more he and his mom thought alike now...to which Barb (bless her heart)  mustered  up the energy to shout out "Not about Donald Trump...I can't stand Trump and you like him".!!!  Her shining moment of the truth...she's still all there:)!
