The Lizard

After yesterday's excesses me and Andy had a relatively relaxing day. A late breakfast, to the local supermarket to pick up some cut flowers for the so-called graveyard run, that is Mum and Dad's final resting places at Ruan Minor and Mawgan-in-Meneage respectively. We also grabbed a snack which we later ate while parked at the National Trust car park, Lizard Point.

It was a glorious day weather-wise (unlike yesterday) so we strolled down to the old lifeboat house, had a yummy clotted cream ice cream and spotted a seal.

A final visit to good friends in Helston before meeting up with the in-laws for a belt-busting meal at one of our favourites, the Newlyn Meadery.

We've packed most of the car this evening as we're playing golf early tomorrow morning before heading home - via the local pasty shop :)
